Audiomack Deletes VDM’s Diss Track “Ole” Amid Prophet Fufeyin Lawsuit

Music streaming platform Audiomack has removed the song “Ole” by social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), following a court order obtained by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of Deliverance Mercyland International Ministry.

The Federal Capital Territory High Court in Nyanya, presided over by Justice M. E. Anenih, granted an interlocutory injunction in July restraining VDM from publishing, distributing or streaming any material deemed defamatory against the cleric.

The case, filed under suit number FCT/CV/3340/2024, centres on claims that the track damaged Prophet Fufeyin’s reputation.

In its ruling, the court dismissed preliminary objections from VDM’s legal team and directed that the song be taken down from all platforms.

Acting on the directive and formal notification from Fufeyin’s lawyers, Audiomack deleted both the audio track and its video versions.

The case has attracted wide public attention due to VDM’s history of outspoken criticism of high-profile figures.

While Fufeyin’s legal team insists the song was part of a broader campaign of defamation, VDM’s supporters argue that it falls under free expression.

The matter was adjourned on Wednesday to October 27, 2025, for continuation of hearing.
