In a dramatic turn of events, popular Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, fondly called Baba Tee, has finally admitted to having a “short” sexual encounter with comedian and skit maker Ganiyu Morufu, aka Dara who happens to be the wife of fellow entertainer, Lande.
Baba Tee made this unexpected revelation during a live interview on the 9th of March, 2025, with socialite Esabod and other TikTok influencers.
His confession marked a complete reversal from his previous stance, where he had boldly denied the allegations and challenged Lande to produce evidence.
Lande had earlier claimed that his marriage to Dara collapsed due to her alleged infidelity, further alleging that at least 21 men in the entertainment industry had been involved with her. Among those named was Baba Tee, who initially dismissed the accusations, insisting that he had only met Dara once in the previous year through actress Marygold.
However, in a shocking twist, Baba Tee has now come clean about what truly transpired. He explained that the encounter occurred during a wild game of “Truth or Dare” with Marygold and Dara.
“So immediately we began the game, Marygold went completely naked and was daring me consistently to Dara while she kept taking alcohol as a choice of not wanting to do the tasks that I demanded from her.
“Marygold now dared Dara to let me have a ‘quick’ sexual intercourse with her, and she (Dara) obliged.

“I will not deny that I had a short sexual intercourse with her. It is the first time I am saying it. It is now that I discovered that it was a set-up by both of them to malign my personality,” Baba Tee confessed.
Following this bombshell, Esabod urged him to offer an apology to Lande. Taking to his official Facebook page on Monday, Baba Tee publicly expressed his remorse.
“I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande.
“Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. I fear women,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, speculations continue to swirl as reports suggest that Marygold, who was once Lande’s manager, had allegedly recorded the intimate encounter.
