Suspected Bandits have alledgedly kidnapped two police officers (Names Unknown) during an attack on Farin Ruwa village in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
This was disclosed in a post shared by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, on Tuesday.
According to the post a group of unknown gunmen stormed the community via Dansadau district.
It was gathered that forces including troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, police personnel, Civilian Protection Group members and local vigilantes, mobilised to rescue residents but were ambushed by the bandits.

During the attack, an ASP and Inspector, attached to DOPS, were abducted along with their serviceable rifles.
As of the time of filing this report, First Daily correspondent could not independently verify the victims current location.
However, an anti-kidnapping team had been deployed to the area and efforts to trace and rescue the officers were ongoing.
