Suspected gunmen have kidnapped about 25 youths along Wukari-Takum Road in Taraba State.
The incident was said to have occurred at about 6pm on Wednesday, when the youths were on their way back to Takum from Wukari, where they had attended a marriage ceremony.
It was learnt that the youths ran into a roadblock mounted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
The victims who were travelling in a commercial bus ran into the roadblock between Amadu and Chanchanji before they were taken into the bush by the gunmen.
State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP David Misal, confirmed the incident.
Misal said the Command had yet to ascertain what exactly happened, but an investigation had already begun.
