Suspected bandits have kidnapped Niger State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Sani Idris.
Secretary to the Government of Niger state, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, confirmed that Idris was kidnapped around 1 am at Baban Tunga, his hometown, in Tafa Local Government Area.
The SSG said security operatives were already on the trail of the kidnappers, saying they hope to rescue him unharmed soon.
