Big Brother Naija host and media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and his wife, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, are expecting their third child.
The couple shared the joyful news on Sunday through a post on Cynthia’s Instagram page, where she reflected on her pregnancy journey and expressed gratitude to God.
In the emotional post, Cynthia revealed that the pregnancy comes seven years after the birth of their second child and ten years after welcoming their first daughter.
“Yup! Seven years later and we’re here again. That’s 10 years since my first rodeo,” she wrote.
She admitted that while experience may make some things feel more familiar, every pregnancy comes with its own unique journey.
“First of all, it’s so interesting how you think experience makes things easier or more familiar, but they never lied when they said every pregnancy is different.
I’m just beyond grateful to God for being my guide through this journey because, omo, what a journey it has been.”

Cynthia also reflected on the significance of the number three, describing it as symbolic of completeness and referencing the Holy Trinity.
“I’ve always heard that the best things come in threes. Life is about 1) the beginning, 2) the journey and 3) the end. With shapes, one stands alone, two are parallel lines, but three points form an actual shape—a triangle, a unit. Even the Bible talks about the Holy Trinity. So I guess third time’s truly a charm,” she wrote.
She thanked their daughters, Jewel and Rubi, for their excitement about welcoming a new sibling and praised her husband, Ebuka, for his unwavering support throughout the pregnancy.
“I’m beyond thankful for JEWEL and RUBI who have been even more excited than me about a new sibling; and for le boo EBUKA who’s been a proper solid rock.
I know you thought you were done changing diapers sha (you are old) lol. Don’t worry, at least the fab five is now complete. Or is it?” she joked.
Cynthia concluded by expressing gratitude to God and optimism for the future.
“God has been so, so faithful and I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for His love. Definitely looking forward to this new DAWN and the blessings that will follow.”
The announcement has been met with congratulatory messages from fans, friends and colleagues, many of whom flooded the couple’s social media pages with warm wishes as they prepare to welcome the newest addition to their family.
