The organisers via their social media accounts confirmed the disruption in a statement, noting that the housemates were safe while technicians worked to restore broadcast signals.
“We’re currently experiencing a temporary break in Big Brother Naija transmission due to a power issue. Rest assured, the housemates are safe and sound.
Our technical team is working swiftly to restore power and normal service. Thank you for your patience,” the statement read.

The live broadcast was off-air for more than two hours, generating concern among viewers who flooded social media platforms with reactions.
Transmission was later restored, with organisers assuring that the show would continue without further interruptions and that fans would continue to enjoy “premium entertainment.”
