Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, was reportedly rushed to a hospital on the 21st of October, 2024, after being detained by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme Border.
Reports indicate that Bobrisky was attempting to exit the country when the arrest occurred.
In a statement, the NIS confirmed the crossdresser’s arrest, claiming he was trying to evade authorities.
Shortly after, Bobrisky was said to have fallen ill with an undisclosed condition that required urgent medical care.
An anonymous source revealed that the crossdresser had a sudden spike in temperature, accompanied by other unconfirmed symptoms.
“He is currently receiving medical care. Once his health condition stabilises, he will be taken to court and possibly freed,”the source said.
The unexpected health scare has intensified worries about the crossdresser’s well-being, deepening the intrigue surrounding the already contentious arrest.
