Boko Haram Terrorists Abduct Teenager in Adamawa

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have abducted an 18-year-old boy, Azura Ayuba, in Kopre village, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa.

According to intelligence Sources quoted by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, on Friday, the incident occurred on Thursday.

The victim and one another person, identified as Augustine, 17, went into the bush at about 1:25 p.m. to fetch firewood when they encountered the terrorists.

It was gathered that, the insurgents numbering about 20, abducted the two boys but Augustine managed to escape and returned home, while Ayuba was taken away.

On receipt of the report, a joint task force troops of the Operation HADIN KAI, and members of the Civilian JTF, have launched a manhunt to rescue the victim.
