Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have repelled coordinated terrorist assaults on military locations in Konduga, Marte, Jakana, and Mainok in Borno State, neutralising several insurgents, including key leaders.
The attacks, which lasted over five hours from 10:30 p.m. Thursday to 3:00 a.m. Friday, were met with strong resistance from alert troops who executed flanking manoeuvres and counter-attacks to regain temporarily breached positions.
Several terrorist leaders, including Amirs, were killed, while airstrikes targeted fleeing insurgents and hostile positions. Ground forces continue recovery operations, securing corpses, weapons, and equipment.

Some soldiers lost their lives, including a frontline officer, reflecting the Nigerian Armed Forces’ commitment to defending the nation. All bases remain firmly under military control.
The Joint Task Force described the failed attacks as a sign of insurgents’ increasing desperation under sustained operational pressure.
