The former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Abdullahi Dikko, is dead,
Dikko hails from Katsina State and was the immediate past chief of the NCS. He served from 2009 to 2015.
It was learnt that he died following a protracted illness.
After retiring from service, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission under the leadership of the sacked Ibrahim Magu had dragged Dikko to court over alleged corruption.
