No less than two persons are reportedly killed following a gas exploded within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Thursday morning.
The incident, FirstNews learnt, happened not far from the hotel where gas explosion also killed four persons two days ago.
The explosion at OOPL, it was learnt, happened at about 11:am at the Marcque event centre within the Presidential Library.
It was further learnt that the explosion happened while technicians were topping up gas into the Air Condition (AC).
“Two people have already been confirmed dead, ” a source at OOPL said.
As at the time this report was filed, the gates leading into OOPL were shut and security guards at the gate were turning visitors back. They only allowed the truck of the State Fire Service and some officials into the premises.
The earlier explosion on Tuesday happened at Conference Hotel, owned by a former governor of Ogun, Gbenga Daniel.
