Buhari receives second dose of COVID-19 vaccine

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the second dose of the AstraZeneca/Oxford COVID-19 vaccine.

The president received the second jab today, Saturday, May 29, at the Aso Villa in Abuja.

This was contained in a tweet on the  official Twitter account of the Presidency.

“President @MBuhari receives the second dose of the AstraZeneca/Oxford #COVID19 Vaccine, at the State House, on May 29, 2021. #AsoVillaToday #YesToCovid19Vaccine,” the tweet read.

Recall after the President and his VP, Yemi Osinbajo, were among the first to get vaccinated with the first delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccine was administered to President Buhari by his personal physician, Dr. Suhayb Sanusi.
