Business mogul, Ken Etete hosts family, friends to birthday soiree

Selected family members and friends on Thursday night gathered at the Lekki Phase 1, Lagos palatial residence of the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Century Energy Services Limited, Mr. Ken Etete, to felicitate with the oil and gas mogul on his birthday.

Although due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Etete could not travel for his Summer holiday as he should have done under a normal atmosphere, his family members, friends and business associates did not miss out on this year’s festivities as he hosted selected few to a birthday soiree.

Elated Etete told First News Online that he was delighted that inspite of the ravaging pandemic and its attendant difficulties, “we have managed to make it to this point.”

He simply said, “I feel good.”

The business mogul expressed appreciation to all friends and associates who attended his birthday soiree, noting, “It’s all surprising because as usual, by this time of the year, “which is the Summer,” he would normally be “vacaying,” with his family, if not for the COVID-19 pandemic, which has continued to keep everyone under some sort of a lockdown.

Etete doesn’t miss his vacation because for him “this is the best thing to happen.”

As he put it, the turn-out of guests at his birthday soiree was a bit of a surprise as he’s never had it like this.

His lovely family wasn’t left out of the razzmatazz of their patriarch’s birthday soiree as they all spoke excitedly and glowingly about him. His adorable daughters – Nana, Elmani and the baby of the House, Toks performed some lively songs at their dad’s birthday soiree to the delight and admiration of all guests. They all wished him a happy birthday, thanking him for being an amazing father, who has always been there for them.

Etete’s friends, too, who showered him with encomiums, also had so many glowing comments about him.

The oil mogul’s associates in the industry, who graced his birthday soiree, included Mrs. Jibola Dahunsi, a consultant in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry, and his long-time friend and businessman, Mr. Evans Jaja-Jones.

Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations in Lagos Police Command, Mr. Muhammed Ali and his colleague, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of CID, Zone 2, Lagos, Mr. Umar Shelleng, also graced Etete’s birthday soiree.

Etete’s family friend, Mr. Collins Aigbe, a businessman, was also not left out of the party.

They all wished Etete a happy birthday, long life, God’s blessings and prosperity.
