CAN: Ladoja’s Rise as Olubadan Heralds Peace, Prosperity

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State chapter, has congratulated former Governor Rashidi Ladoja on his selection and approval as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement on Thursday, the state CAN Chairman, Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju, described Ladoja’s ascendancy as a development that would usher in peace, progress, and prosperity in Ibadanland.

Akinyemiju said the former governor stood out for his intelligence and leadership qualities, adding that the association was confident he would rule with justice, fairness, and equity.

“On behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter, I heartily congratulate you on your selection and approval as the Olubadan of Ibadanland,” Akinyemiju said.

He expressed optimism that the resilience and dedication that defined Ladoja’s political and leadership journey would guide him on the throne.

CAN also prayed for God’s guidance and strength for the incoming monarch as he assumes the exalted position on Friday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, also represented Ibadan North-West in the Senate.
