The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced the launch of its newly redesigned website, which will go live on Monday, December 2.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Acting Director of Corporate Communications, Mrs Hakama Sidi Ali, highlighted the new features of the website, hosted at www.cbn.gov.ng, and its focus on improving user interaction.

“The Bank has developed a contemporary Web API that operates on Microsoft .NET Core 8 (the most recent and stable release) to enhance user experience by speeding up and simplifying the navigation process,” Ali said.

She noted that the front-end design and back-end technology were developed in-house, showcasing the institution’s technical capabilities.

According to Ali, the redesigned platform includes expanded content that provides more detailed information on the Bank’s mandate.

Additionally, it is optimised for mobile devices, ensuring seamless access across various browsers and devices.

“The Bank is grateful for the feedback provided by the public, which served as a valuable guide for our redesign endeavors,” she added.

Ali affirmed the CBN’s commitment to continually improving the website to enhance communication and accessibility.
