Nigeria’s home-based Eagles will on Friday depart for the city of Cape Coast for Sunday’s African Nations Championship qualifying match against Ghana
The team will be led by Head Coach Salisu Yusuf and the final 22-man squad list will be released just before the team departs.
Both countries will face off on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium, starting from 4pm Ghana time (5pm Nigeria time).
Beninoise officials have been selected to take charge of the game with Issa Mouhamed as the Referee, Eric Ulrich Ayimavo as Assistant Referee 1, Koudogbo Kougbemede as Assistant Referee 2 and Tanisla Ahomlanto as Fourth Official.
The return leg will take place on Saturday, September 9, at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
