Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a 26-man squad for the upcoming Unity Cup in London, with Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo receiving his first-ever invitation to the Nigerian national team.
The squad list was released on Wednesday via the Super Eagles’ official X handle ahead of the four-nation invitational tournament scheduled to hold in England later this month.
Okonkwo, who recently committed his international future to Nigeria, headlines the list of invited goalkeepers alongside experienced Francis Uzoho and Ikorodu City shot-stopper Michael Atata.
The 2026 Unity Cup will take place between May 26 and May 30 at The Valley Stadium, home ground of Charlton Athletic FC, in London.
Nigeria are billed to take on Zimbabwe on Tuesday, May 26, while India will face Jamaica the following day, with winners from both fixtures progressing to the final.
Chelle’s squad features a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents as the Malian tactician continues preparations for future international assignments.
In defence, regular names such as Bruno Onyemaechi and Igoh Ogbu made the list, while midfield stars Wilfred Ndidi and Raphael Onyedika are expected to provide stability and experience in the middle of the park.
The attack also boasts notable names including Moses Simon, Akor Adams, Terem Moffi and Philip Otele.
Several home-based players also earned invitations, including Aderemi Adeoye, Tosin Oyedokun and Michael Atata from Nigeria Premier Football League side Ikorodu City.
