Chelsea Beat PSG 3:0 to Win Club World Cup

Cole Palmer was the hero as Chelsea claimed their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup title with a dominant 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the United States, capping off a historic year for the London club.

U.S. President Donald Trump was among the high-profile guests in attendance, adding further glitz to the global football spectacle.

Palmer opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a composed finish and doubled Chelsea’s lead just eight minutes later, repeating his clinical style to stun the French giants.

The 30th-minute goal left PSG reeling, and things got even worse when Joao Pedro added a third in the 43rd minute — this time assisted by a brilliantly timed pass from Palmer.

PSG emerged from halftime with more urgency and pushed to mount a comeback, but their hopes were dashed when Joao Neves was shown a red card, reducing the European champions to ten men.

From that point, the French side struggled to impose themselves and couldn’t break Chelsea’s solid defensive setup.

The result marks a milestone for Chelsea, who now add the Club World Cup to their European Conference League title won in May 2025 — both first-time achievements in club history.

The final whistle confirmed Chelsea’s dominance and sealed their reputation as one of the rising forces in world football.
