Nollywood actress Chika Ike has broken her silence on swirling rumors linking her newborn child to Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
Social media had been buzzing with speculation that Ike, who recently shared breathtaking maternity photos on Instagram, was set to become the senator’s seventh wife.
Setting the record straight, the actress dismissed the claims, making it clear that Ned Nwoko is not the father of her child.
“Ned isn’t the father of my child and whoever name you might come up with later with your guessing games and like I’ve said before, I’m not about to be anyone’s 7th wife! Polygamy isn’t for me,” she stated in an Instagram post on the 18th of February, 2025.

Meanwhile, Senator Ned Nwoko, through his media office, has also denied any involvement in Ike’s pregnancy or any plans of taking her as a seventh wife.
