CNG condoles with top official over mother’s death

Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has received the sad news of the death of the mother of one of its national officials, Mohammed A. Mohammed from Niger State.

Hajiya Hauwa Abdullahi, who died at an advanced age in Kaduna following a protracted illness and old age complications, has been buried according to Islamic rites at Unguwar Muazu on Thursday.

In a condolence message, CNG spokesperson, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, said the deceased had been a wonderful mother who stood by the Group at every turn.

“A strong, jovial but firm Mom who stood by her children through the twists and turns of life,” Suleiman said.

The CNG described Hajiya Hauwa as a mother whose kindness was contagious, saying her memory would live on forever.

Suleiman said, “My deepest condolences to our colleague, Mohammed and the family during this time. Hajiya Hauwa was an amazing woman and she will truly be missed.

“We pray the Almighty God for the repose of her soul and the fortitude to bear this monumental loss by the family.”
