A Lagos High Court in Ikeja has ordered social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, to remove defamatory videos targeting a prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN.
The court also instructed Otse to refrain from making any further public comments about Falana or his family.
This ruling follows Falana’s disclosure that he has resisted the urge to pursue criminal charges against VeryDarkMan, who accused him of allegedly helping cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, evade punishment.
Recall that on the 24th of September, 2024, VeryDarkMan released a recorded conversation where Bobrisky claimed that singer Falz had reached out to him during his six-month imprisonment.
In response, Falana and his family issued a formal demand for a retraction and an apology from VeryDarkMan, giving him 24 hours to comply.
