Former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dakuku Peterside, Vice-Chancellor of Rivers State University, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, and entrepreneur Mrs. Tina Osuji are among prominent speakers expected at the 2026 Annual Faith Conference and 13th Anniversary Leadership and Business Session of FirstLove Assembly, Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt.
The five-day conference is scheduled to hold from August 12 to 16, 2026, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and is expected to attract participants from various sectors, including business, academia, public service and ministry.
According to a statement jointly signed by the Resident Pastor of FirstLove Assembly, Pastor Alfred James Abu, and Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dr. Boma Waribor, the conference will commence on Wednesday, August 12, with evening worship sessions, while the mornings will feature leadership, business and career development programmes.
The organisers said this year’s edition is designed to equip participants with practical leadership skills, entrepreneurial insights and spiritual inspiration to enhance personal and professional growth.
Peterside, a leadership coach and author of Leading in a Storm and Strategic Turnaround, is expected to deliver the keynote address titled, “The Ten Greatest Leadership Lessons I Learnt From Public Service — And Why Every Entrepreneur Should Know Them.”
Prof. Zeb-Obipi is expected to speak on leadership, while Osuji, Chief Executive Officer of Tico’s Kitchen, will share practical lessons on entrepreneurship and business development.
A major highlight of the conference will be “The Exchanges,” a structured networking platform designed to encourage participants to build professional relationships, exchange ideas and explore career and business opportunities.

The organisers said the initiative is expected to connect hundreds of participants from diverse professions and industries, creating opportunities for collaboration beyond the conference.
“The 13th Anniversary Faith Conference marks a prophetic season of new beginnings for our branch and has been carefully structured to equip participants for this new season and higher service,” the statement said.
Other ministers expected to speak during the evening sessions and thanksgiving service include the Overseer of FirstLove Assembly Worldwide, Rev. Simeon Afolabi, Rev. Chris Oarhe, Prophet Joseph Akanya, Pastor Wisdom Osiri, and the host, Pastor Alfred James Abu.
They will minister on the conference theme, “The Supernatural Life,” focusing on spiritual growth, purposeful living and transformational leadership.
The organisers said the conference is open to members of the public, particularly business owners, professionals, entrepreneurs, students and individuals seeking leadership development and spiritual renewal.
