Segxy, the bodyguard of David Adeleke, fondly called Davido, has addressed rumors about an alleged assault at his boss’s wedding.
A video from the wedding recently surfaced online, appearing to show Davido reprimanding his bodyguard, which led to speculations of an assault.
In response, Segxy called the video “fake,” asserting that Davido did not slap him and has never slapped any of his staff members.
He clarified that Davido was merely cautioning him to let a boy, whom he was trying to block, approach the singer.
On his Instagram account, Segxy wrote: “Regarding the fake video circulating online, y’all are commenting on things you don’t know…”
“My boss didn’t slap me and has never slapped any of his staff before. He was only cautioning me to allow the boy. The boy in question appeared from nowhere beside us, and I tried to stop him.
“Besides, my boss is my blood and family. I understand him so well without a word from his mouth.. 30BG for life,” he said.
Meanwhile, reacting to the claim, Davido, in a post on his X account, addressed the controversies, stating that he doesn’t care about what people say.
“Note: F#ck what people gotta say! Stay active,” he wrote.
