Diddy’s Release Date Postponed Until 2028

American music mogul Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, will remain in federal custody longer than previously anticipated after prison authorities pushed back his expected release date.

According to records from the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons, Combs is now scheduled for release on February 20, 2028, extending the timeline that had earlier been projected.

Authorities have yet to disclose the reason for the change.

The development comes amid reports that the music executive was recently placed in solitary confinement following an alleged altercation with another inmate while in custody.

However, officials have not confirmed whether the reported incident was connected to the revised release date.

Combs has remained behind bars since his conviction in a highly publicised criminal case that brought an abrupt end to his decades-long career in the entertainment industry.

The case attracted widespread international attention after multiple allegations and criminal charges were brought against the rapper, producer and businessman.

Once regarded as one of the most influential figures in hip-hop and a leading force in the global music business, Combs’ conviction marked a dramatic fall from prominence.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has not issued any further statement regarding the matter.
