Former Nigerian senator and political figure, Dino Melaye, has suffered the loss of his luxury Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon following a serious accident that left the vehicle badly mangled.
A video clip of the aftermath, which surfaced on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), shows the black G-Wagon in a crumpled state, with significant damage to the front and sides.
The cause of the crash and the identity of the driver remain unknown at this time.
In the video, a customized seat with Melaye’s name is clearly visible, confirming ownership of the vehicle.
A voice in the background of the footage is also heard narrating the extent of the damage, describing the accident as “ghastly.”

However, it is yet to be confirmed whether Melaye was in the vehicle at the time of the incident or if anyone sustained injuries.
