DSS detains Osun #EndSARS coordinator, Adebisi for ‘impersonation’

Department of State Services in Osun State has arrested and detained a coordinator of the #EndSARS Movement in the state, Emmanuel Adebisi, for alleged impersonation.

Only last Monday, Adebisi had led a group of protesters to the Osun State House of Assembly, where they demanded the disbandment of the panel probing police brutality in the state.

The protesters had complained that none of the members of the #EndSARS movement was accommodated in the panel.

The protesters had also demanded the release of one Wale remanded in prison for his role in last October’s #EndSARS protest.

It was learnt that Adebisi was invited to the State Headquarters of the DSS and subsequently detained.

A security source claimed that Adebisi was invited and detained by the DSS for allegedly claiming to be an Army Captain.
