Nigeria’s D’Tigers returned to winning ways with an impressive 100-84 victory over Cape Verde in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers in Radès.
The Nigerian side produced a strong offensive performance to secure the win and revive their hopes of qualifying for the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The victory came after D’Tigers suffered back-to-back defeats in the qualifying window, putting pressure on the team to respond strongly in their final game.

Nigeria dominated proceedings against Cape Verde, finding their rhythm offensively and maintaining their advantage throughout the encounter.
