Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, have reached a historic ninth consecutive quarterfinal at the FIBA Women’s Afrobasket after edging past Mozambique in a tense 60–55 victory on Monday.

In a game that showcased grit, teamwork, and relentless spirit, the Nigerian side fought off a resilient Mozambican team to continue their dominance in African women’s basketball.
