Youths in Ebonyi State have thrown their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The declaration was made on Saturday during the inauguration of the Ebonyi State chapter of the South-East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), a socio-political support group, held in the state.

Speaking at the event, SERHA’s National Coordinator, Belusochukwu Enwere, praised the enthusiasm of the youths, describing their support as a strong indication of the region’s readiness to align with national development efforts under President Tinubu.

He described SERHA as a socio-political group composed of progressive Nigerians from the South-East region whose membership is drawn from men, women, and youths of all faiths and tribes.

Enwere applauded Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the President had made significant strides in key areas of national development.

“The establishment of the South-East Development Commission is an opportunity for us, and indeed Nigerians should join hands for the reelection of our dear President,” he said.

He added, “He has shown courage, determination, and a clear vision in steering the country towards recovery and growth.”

Alaka also expressed appreciation to the President for appointing an Ebonyi indigene as Minister of Works.

“Most importantly, I wish to thank Mr President for giving us, Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, the first time in the history of Nigeria,” he stated.
