The Nigerian gospel music industry is currently embroiled in a storm of controversy as Eezee Tee, the CEO of Eezee Conceptz, faces serious allegations of contract forgery, financial exploitation, and artist manipulation.
As the backlash intensifies, popular YouTuber and analyst Beingreal George has stepped into the conversation with a bold claim arguing that this entire controversy is part of a calculated effort to secularize gospel music.
In a recent broadcast, George did not mince words, stating that the drama surrounding Eezee Tee is a direct assault on gospel music.
“I only see one agenda in all of this a push to secularize the gospel industry, if it isn’t already secularized,” he declared.
Drawing a comparison to the secular music industry, he posed a thought-provoking question: “If these issues are now common in gospel music, what does that say?”
The controversy took a sharper turn after gospel music producer Dr. Roy posted a viral video in which he accused Eezee Tee of denying him royalties, pushing him into financial distress. His revelations have sparked heated debates about the ethical practices within Eezee Conceptz, with social media now branding the label as “EezeeTiff Concept.”
George further delved into the highly publicized contractual dispute between gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and Eezee Conceptz. According to him, the label intentionally delayed processes and misrepresented facts to tighten its grip on Chinwo’s career.
He also alleged that the label attempted to postpone her last album to extend her contract and even restricted her from attending ministerial engagements.
Meanwhile, gospel artist Jaga Testimony has also weighed in on the controversy, calling it a deliberate attempt to undermine the “system of God.”
In a strongly worded video message, Testimony issued a caution to Ezekiel ThankGod, the boss of Eezee Conceptz, emphasizing that his actions and statements have stirred significant concern.
At the heart of this public storm is the ongoing debate surrounding Ezekiel ThankGod and Mercy Chinwo, particularly over financial dealings tied to gospel music performances and the rumored fractures within the Christian music industry.
As the situation unfolds, the gospel music scene watches closely—waiting to see whether this saga will lead to justice, reform, or further division.
