The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 arraigned one Abdullahi Adamu Wada before Justice Olubunmi Abike-Fadipe of the Special Offences Court sitting in Lagos.
According to a statement by the anti-graft agency on Thursday, the suspect was arraigned for an alleged N75,111,600 fraud on Wednesday.
The EFCC noted that the defendant is being prosecuted on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy to obtain money by false pretence and obtaining money under false pretence.

The commission said his offence contrary to Sections 1(2) and 8(a), and punishable under Section 1(3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other fraud related offences Act No. 14 of 2006.
