President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, joined other Muslim faithful to observe the Eid-el-Fitr prayer marking the end of the Ramadan fasting inside the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Buhari and other members of his immediate family and close aides observed the Eid prayer from the Villa.
Also at the prayer with the President were the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.); and the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, among others.
The President’s wife, Aisha, and some of her daughters and aides also took part in the prayer inside the Villa.
