While the management did not disclose the specific offences, it stressed that any student found guilty of violating the matriculation oath or engaging in misconduct would face the Students’ Disciplinary and Examinations Misconduct Committee (SD&EMC). Depending on the severity of the infraction, offenders may be suspended or expelled.

“To be forewarned is to be forearmed,” the statement read, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of discipline and accountability among its student body.

The indefinite suspension underscores the university’s firm stance on misconduct, sending a clear message to students that adherence to institutional regulations is non-negotiable.

Campus observers note that this decision may serve as a deterrent for other students and reinforce a standard of integrity across all departments.
