No fewer than three police officers were shot on Monday when protesters invaded the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the police located in the Surulere area of Lagos.
During the attack, three officers attached to the unit were reportedly shot by unknown persons.
Earlier, an unidentified youth was shot dead when the #EndSARS protesters stormed the Surulere area.
The victim was said to have been shot during a stand-off between the protesters and the police in the area.
