Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon lost a $10,000 bet to singer Zlatan Ibile after Spain defeated England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.
The duo had bet $10,000 each on England and Spain, respectively, as shown in a video shared on the singer’s Instagram.
Zlatan won the bet as Spain beat England 2-1, securing a record fourth UEFA Euro title.
Spain took the lead two minutes into the second half, but substitute Cole Palmer equalized for England in the 73rd minute.
Mikel Oyarzabal’s 86th-minute goal clinched the victory for Spain.
Following the game, Soberekon posted a crying emoji on his Instagram story.
