…says ‘he’s a founding member of ruling party’
Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, may have finally defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, revealed this on Wednesday.
Bello in a video now circulating online, said the former minister was a foundation member of APC.
“Our brother, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has joined our party in good faith. He is joining our party to come and add positive energy and make contributions to ensure APC is a party to beat. Remember, he is a foundation member of APC,” the Kogi governor said.
The development was speculated on social media a few days ago, but the former minister debunked it, saying he only met with the APC leadership to discuss the “state of the nation, national issues, party politics and the way forward.”
