Femi Osibona, owner of Lagos collapsed building, revealed

In a trending video on social media, the Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, has revealed the humble beginning of Femi Osibona, the owner/developer of the collapsed 21-storey Ikoyi building.

The cleric said Femi once sold shirts and ties in Abuja and that he was one of his customers at that struggling period of his life.

Osibona popularly called ‘Fourscore’, according to the globally renowned pastor, sometimes sourced for the ties and shirts from others with means because he did not have the requisite resources to stand on his own.

Pastor Ashimolowo, while addressing his church gathering in the viral video, stated, “This guy used to sell shirts and ties in Abuja. I just told you he supplied, he didn’t even had the shirts but went to others to get for me during that crisis journey; now he has three towers. He sent me a video this morning.”

Osibona’s spiritual journey with the man of God began when, in his words, the once shirt/tie seller listened “…..to my tapes and built 12 apartments in London. He sold eight, kept four. He came back and said Pastor Matthew, lay hand on me; where should I go again. After laying hand on him for the first time and said ‘where should I go again, I want to go to South Africa, please pray for me.’

“I prayed for him. Ladies and gentlemen, he went to South Africa and built 125 houses in the eyebrow area in Centurion, which broke through exponentially. Then he called me and said where are you sir, I want to come to you and I said I was in Ghana preaching.”

He continued: “He joined a plane and flew to Ghana. He said where should I go again? I said look, I’m not your financial adviser, go and meet your financial advisers. He said you are doing better than them o. I laid hand on him, prayed for him. I said go to Nigeria your country. We called him Femi Four Score. He came to Lagos and built 40 apartments in Ikoyi, and sold it for like a million dollars, each one. As I’m talking to you right now, in fact, this morning, Femi sent me a video, he’s building, I think, three towers together on Alexander-if you know Ikoyi. One is 14 floors, one is 15 floors, one is 21 floors.”

However, it was not revealed how Osibona got his money before venturing into real estate business.

Investigations, however, revealed that he is a cousin of a very top government functionary from the Ijebu area of Ogun State.
