The Federal Government has resolved passport printing delays at Nigeria’s consulates in New York and Atlanta with the installation of new machines.
Following directives from Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo in January, the Nigeria Immigration Service on Tuesday, February 18, delivered and installed the printers, addressing concerns from Nigerians in the diaspora over outdated machines causing delays.
“The installation of these new printers demonstrates our dedication to addressing the needs of Nigerians at home and abroad,” Tunji-Ojo said in a statement on Wednesday, February 19, signed by his media adviser, Babatunde Alao.
