FIFA Unveils ‘Trionda’ — Official Match Ball for 2026 World Cup

FIFA has officially presented the new match ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Named ‘Trionda’, the ball draws inspiration from the vibrant colours of the three host nations while combining cutting-edge technology to enhance the global showpiece.

According to FIFA, the Trionda is embedded with a 500Hz motion sensor chip, designed to capture real-time data of every movement during matches.

This innovation is expected to provide deeper insights into gameplay, benefiting referees, analysts, and fans alike.
