A massive fire engulfed a 67-storey residential tower in Dubai Marina, prompting the evacuation of 3,820 residents in what officials are calling one of the city’s most significant emergency operations in recent years.
Remarkably, no injuries were reported, despite the scale and intensity of the fire.
However, questions have emerged regarding the building’s fire safety protocols. Several residents reported they did not receive any fire alarm warnings.

Many only became aware of the incident after seeing smoke, receiving calls from neighbours, or noticing emergency personnel outside the building.
Firefighters battled the flames for nearly six hours before successfully containing the fire.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
