First News management visits Obasanjo

Management of First Media Limited, publishers/owners of FirstNews online and FirstTV, on Friday, paid a courtesy visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The First Media Limited team led by its Chairman, Mr Daniel Iworiso-Markson, visited Obasanjo at his residence inside the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.

Others on the entourage were the digital media company’s Chief Operating Officer, Ms Bukkie Allison and FirstNews online Managing Editor, Mr Segun Olatunji.

Obasanjo, during the meeting, identified some of the major problems plaguing the Nigerian nation to include poor fiscal management and inept leadership.

The former President, however, restated that he remained an incurable optimist regarding the survival of the Nigerian nation, inspite of the current worsening insecurity.
