Turkish giants Galatasaray are closely monitoring Chelsea’s transfer plans, with a keen eye on Victor Osimhen’s potential move to Stamford Bridge — and are prepared to swoop in for Nicolas Jackson should the Nigerian striker complete a permanent transfer to the Premier League.
This revelation was made by respected Turkish football journalist, Serdar Ali Çelikler, during an appearance on the Neo Spor YouTube channel, as reported by habersarikirmizi.
According to Çelikler, the reigning Turkish champions are “waiting” to see whether Chelsea will act decisively on Osimhen, who is reportedly holding out for a Premier League switch amid interest from multiple English clubs.
“They [Galatasaray] are also waiting for Osimhen. I think they will wait until August,” said Çelikler.
“Osimhen is not in a hurry and is waiting for a move from England. If Chelsea takes Osimhen, Galatasaray will enter for Nicolas Jackson.”
The domino effect could see Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal last summer for around £32 million, make a swift exit from the London club just a year after arriving.
While Jackson scored 14 goals in all competitions in his debut season, his performances were inconsistent, leading to calls for a more clinical striker to lead Chelsea’s frontline.
Osimhen, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, was nothing short of spectacular.

The 26-year-old striker fired in a remarkable 37 goals in all competitions, powering the Istanbul club to a domestic double — the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup.
His performances reignited transfer speculation, with Chelsea long considered frontrunners for his signature.
Napoli, Osimhen’s parent club, are reportedly open to selling, provided the buyer activates his €75 million release clause.
Osimhen has made no secret of his desire to play in the English Premier League, and Chelsea’s ongoing search for a proven No. 9 aligns with his ambitions.
Galatasaray, who have ambitions to build on their domestic dominance and make a strong return to the UEFA Champions League, are not taking chances.
Should Osimhen depart permanently for England, they are expected to move quickly for a capable replacement — and Jackson appears to be their top target.
