Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani, has congratulated the new Emir of Kagara Emirate, Alhaji Ahmed Garba Gunna.

“After serving as the Dan Majen of the Kagara Emirate, it will also exalt confidence and belief as people of the emirate will bring you wisdom and expertise in preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the people”, Bello said.

He urged the new Emir to use his wealth of experience by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to restore peace and tackle insecurity bedeviling the area.

The governor emphasised on the support of the new emir towards maintaining peace for the economic growth and development of people and the state at large.

Before his appointment, Garba was acting Board chairman of Niger State Internal Revenue Service and also held the traditional title of Dan Majen Kagara.
