Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring peace in the state, stating that no sacrifice is too great to achieve stability.
Speaking at the commissioning of judges’ quarters in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Fubara emphasized that his priority remains the well-being of the people and the legacy of his administration.
“I can assure you publicly that any day, any time, I cannot turn back on that my statement that nothing is too big to pay for peace to reign in this state,” he declared.
The governor noted that governance is not about personal interests but about the long-term impact on the people. “At the end of the day, it’s not about me, it’s about our people. I will leave, but the good work that I have done will speak,” he added.
As part of his administration’s efforts to improve the judiciary’s working conditions, Fubara inaugurated seven units of five-bedroom duplexes for Rivers State judges.
