Gunmen suspected to be bandits on Friday night invaded the residence of the Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Akin Oke in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Though no life was lost during the raid which lasted for some hours, the bandits went away with the party’s 18-seater official bus.
Confirming the incident in a statement, the party’s caretaker Publicity Secretary in the state, Dr AbdulAzeez Olatunde said:.
“This is to alert security operatives within and outside Oyo State and members of the public that whoever found the White Hummer Bus with the inscription, ‘All Progressives Congress, Oyo State’ should report to the nearest APC office or the nearest police station.”
Olatunde said the vehicle was stolen when suspected armed bandits invaded the premises of the caretaker chairman of the party in Ibadan.
