Unknown gunmen have killed a man, Ken Ekwesianya, his wife and daughter in Azia, in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The family members were said to have been killed inside a church around 7 pm on Thursday.
But as of the time of this report details of the incident remained sketchy.
State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident.
The PPRO said an investigation had commenced.
“Investigation is ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident and effort is being intensified in order to arrest perpetrators of the dastardly act and bring them to justice,” he said.
