Gyökeres Nets Brace As Arsenal Cruise Past Fulham, Extend Title Lead

Arsenal delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, defeating Fulham 3–0 to strengthen their grip at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners wasted no time asserting dominance, with Viktor Gyökeres opening the scoring in the 9th minute. The striker calmly converted after a well-worked move set up by Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal doubled their lead just before halftime, as Saka turned from provider to scorer in the 40th minute.

This time, Gyökeres returned the favor with a precise assist, capping off a fluid attacking display.

The North London side continued their relentless push, and Gyökeres grabbed his second goal deep into first-half stoppage time (45+5), finishing off an assist from Leandro Trossard to seal a comprehensive 3–0 victory.

The result sees Arsenal move six points clear at the top of the table, underlining their title credentials as the season approaches its climax.

Meanwhile, defending champions Manchester City will be aiming to keep the pressure on the league leaders.

Pep Guardiola’s side face crucial upcoming fixtures against Everton and Brentford, with five games remaining, compared to Arsenal’s three.

With momentum firmly on their side, Arsenal appear determined to finish the job and lift the Premier League title.
