Veteran Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku, has pulled back the curtain on the hidden battles within the movie industry, revealing that some of his colleagues engaged in diabolical practices.
During a recent candid conversation with fellow actor, Emma Labista, on the Nollywood Hardcore podcast, Anuku opened up about his personal experiences and interactions with those in the industry.
A snippet from the interview captured a moment where Labista inquired, “What is your relationship with your colleagues?”
In response, Anuku gave a thought-provoking answer: “In life, we must always keep space for falling down and standing up again. There was a bit of diabolism in the industry.”

The seasoned actor didn’t stop there. He went on to expose the envy and backstabbing he faced at the peak of his career, adding, “Some people were diabolical, some were envious and jealous of my shine then. I was blackmailed.”
