Head Coach, Eric Chelle Visits Super Eagles Players in Europe

The newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Éric Chelle and his first assistant, Hedi Taboubi, paid a visit to some of their players ahead of the team’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Super Eagles will be take on the Amavubi of Rwanda and the Warriors of Zimbabwe next month.

Chelle and Taboubi were at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Friday night to watch winger Moses Simon’s performance for Nantes in their Ligue 1 clash with Brest.

Simon featured for 68 minutes in the encounter, which ended in a 2-0 defeat for Nantes.

The duo had earlier visited England-based players Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi.

They are expected to visit more players at their respective bases next week.

The Super Eagles will be away to Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali for a match-day five encounter on Friday, 21 March.

The three-time African champions will then host Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo four days later.
